The spirit of giving is coming alive once again throughCHAgives, a regional campaign dedicated to increasing the impact of giving across Greater Chattanooga. CHAgives unites nonprofits and community members under one shared goal: to make a lasting difference together.
Built on the belief that collaboration drives deeper impact, the campaign encourages everyone to give where they live by supporting local causes that strengthen the region and create lasting change. As the community feels the growing effects of federal funding changes, specifically those related to SNAP benefits, CHAgives helps build collaborative, community-wide resiliency.
“Both nonprofits and communities thrive when they work together,” said Chelsea Ryden, Brand and Event Manager for United Way of Greater Chattanooga. “CHAgives is more than just a fundraising campaign; it’s a collective movement to strengthen our region through generosity.”
This year marks the relaunch of CHAgives, with nearly 40 nonprofits already participating. From Nov. 3 through Dec. 31, community members are encouraged to discover meaningful causes, make donations, and see how their support can make a tangible impact right here in Chattanooga.
CHAgives is powered by United Way of Greater Chattanooga, The Generosity Trust and a coalition of local community partners. Created by the community, for the community, the campaign brings together people and organizations who believe in building a more generous Chattanooga.
United Way of Greater Chattanooga is proud to facilitate CHAgives, providing coordination and resources to help local nonprofits succeed. The organization does not receive any fiscal support from the campaign other than contributions made directly to its own programs.
“Making real impact requires collaboration,” added Ryden. “We’re proud to help create a platform where generosity can thrive.”
