You want to make a difference. We make it easy. Our dedicated volunteerism team is here to help connect you to meaningful volunteer opportunities today!

Volunteerism Types

Onsite Volunteerism

Onsite volunteerism brings hands-on volunteer projects straight to your workplace—customized to your goals and local nonprofit needs. From hygiene kits to school supplies, we handle the details so our corporate partners can focus on making a difference, learning about local partners, and connecting as a team.

Traditional Volunteerism

Whether you’re an individual or a team – we can get you connected to causes, projects, or nonprofits that are meaningful to you. We simply need the times you’re looking to volunteer , potential group size, and interests. We handle the rest! You can also see our community-wide volunteering platform, ihelpchattnooga.org, for year-round opportunities.

Host a Drive

Make giving easy. We’ll help you host a donation drive for food, school supplies, baby items, or any cause that matters to your team.

Did You Know?

We also run volunteerism programs and host two community-wide volunteer days each year. Learn more about Youth United, Emerging Leaders, and our volunteering day, Day of Caring.

Youth United

Youth United is a two-year volunteerism and leadership development program for high school students. Youth United partners specifically with Title 1 schools, serving six schools at a time and 10 students from each school, forming a cohort of 60 youth leaders. We are particularly interested in removing barriers so young people can discover more about themselves while engaging with their community.

Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders is a volunteerism, networking and leadership development program for anyone age 21-40 looking to get connected and make a difference in our community. We have a base membership fee of $50 that gives you acess to unique events and opportunities for the year. We’d love to connect with you!

Day of Caring

Day of Caring is our largest volunteer event of the year, uniting the entire community for a powerful day of service. Mark your calendars for April 17 and September 18, 2026. Thank you to our sponsors, Unum and Elder’s Ace.
