We understand your desire to immediately help our neighbors in a major emergency or disaster. However, please do not self-deploy to a disaster scene. Local partners will post service opportunities on the Tennessee Serves Volunteer Portal as they become available.

Supplies Drive for TN Families Impacted by the Flooding

 

YMCAs of Chattanooga are coordinating with the Unicoi County Family YMCA in Erwin, TN. Donations can be dropped off to any YMCA of Chattanooga by 9 PM Oct. 2. Donations needed: 

  • Bottled Water  
  • Flashlights  
  • AA Batteries 
  • Portable Phone Chargers

        All Food City locations are taking monetary donations for disaster relief funds at checkout through Oct. 12. 

        100% of all the funds collected will benefit the United Ways of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia as they work to provide relief from the catastrophic flooding.

        All Publix locations are taking monetary donations for disaster relief funds at Checkout. No end date at this time.  

        Donations collected will support nonprofit organizations, including the American Red Cross, United Way and the Florida Fund, enabling them to help people recover from this disaster.
