Youth United

Youth United is a leadership and volunteer program for 9th-12th grade students. The 2024-2025 school year will welcome students from Brainerd High School, Hixson High School, and Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts. Join the fun!

How it Works

Youth United is a year-long program with four exciting volunteer projects for students from participating schools. Each project is hosted by a different nonprofit, and students get to learn about the organization before diving in.

Why Youth United?

Leadership Development

Community Service

Connection

Research shows that volunteering at a younger age provides long-term, meaningful outcomes such as a connection to community, doing better in school, and even higher odds of employment later. Youth United encourages students to find causes they are passionate about and uniquely removes barriers through our nonprofit connections.
